Largest museum in Leeuwarden. It is of course about Friesland and everything that can be called Frisian. Thanks to the Frisian language, which is closer to old English than Dutch, the people here stick more to their traditions. This makes Friesland a very interesting region. The permanent exhibition "Het ferhaal fan Fryslân" gives you an insight into this unique region. The Frisian Resistance Museum is located on the second floor.
